“Far from everything, yet so close to everything!”
This is how one of our guests explained why he returned year after year.
Pass through the entrance and you will discover a central lawn area where children often gather. The residences surround the lawn area and each independent house is separated by 50 yards or so from the adjacent one.
The children can play freely and safely, as the small road is at a distance from this area.
There are also many walking trails in the fifteen acres of woods that are accessible. You can gather mushrooms in season, (the place is famous), visit a teepee or a stone hut, once used by shepherds, right on the property.
From the top of the hill, it’s a 40 minute walk to La Roque Gageac.
The pool
The pool is open this year from June to September. It’s deep and large enough to be suitable for all swimmers (length of 11.3m x 5.3m and depth of 0.9 to 2.5m).
It’s protected from the wind, heated, fenced in and locked for the security of all, especially children.
